Calvin Williams is a young South Alabama corner with upside and room to grow
In the 2023 season, Calvin Williams was a true freshman at South Alabama and did not see game action, so the best read right now is projection rather than production[3]. At 5'11" and 180 pounds, he has a workable CB frame and appears to fit the Jaguars’ developmental pipeline as a prospect with length, contact readiness, and special-teams-adjacent versatility to earn snaps if his technique sharpens[1][3]. If your team wants an under-the-radar defensive back to develop rather than an immediate plug-and-play starter, he’s worth watching.
