Versatile, seasoned Cal Poly linebacker with a proven nose for the football
Lance Vecchio is a veteran Cal Poly linebacker who brings experience, physicality, and versatility to the Mustangs; in 2020 (spring 2021), he started all three games and finished with 19 tackles, including a sack and 1.5 tackles for loss, then added 19 more tackles with a sack the following fall. His background suggests he’s more than a stat sheet player: he was a multi-sport, two-way high school standout and has been trusted in multiple front-seven roles, which hints at toughness and football IQ. If a team wants a reliable, assignment-sound LB with some edge, Vecchio fits the bill.
