Travis Saxton brings downhill linebacker toughness to Boise State
Saxton is a Boise State linebacker listed at 6-1, 228, with a high-school résumé built on production and physicality: he was a first-team all-state senior after 172 tackles, which points to a hitter who plays with urgency and range. That kind of tackling volume suggests a reliable run defender with a nose for the ball, and his multi-sport background adds to the appeal for teams valuing toughness and athletic coordination. If you want a linebacker who fits a physical, assignment-driven defense and offers a blue-collar mentality, Saxton is worth attention.
