Pitt’s bullpen buzzsaw with swing-and-miss stuff
In the 2026 season, the Pitt right-hander has shown real bullpen impact: he fanned five in 2.2 scoreless innings against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and has also delivered clean late-inning work in key ACC games, including a scoreless outing versus Florida State. Listed as a redshirt sophomore, Ciancimino is a 6-foot, 195-pound RHP who returned to Pitt after a productive 2025 at Monmouth, where he logged 38 strikeouts in 41 innings across 16 appearances and seven starts. Why care? He’s the kind of arm that can shorten games, miss bats, and fit a staff looking for competitive, versatile relief help.
