a clutch Illini guard with championship roots
Jessica Wright brings a steady, competitive edge to Illinois, with a résumé that traces back to back-to-back Indiana high school titles and the kind of big-shot confidence that shows up in pressure moments. She’s the sort of guard coaches like: composed, emotionally reliable, and capable of giving a lineup a timely spark rather than just empty volume. If your team needs poise, winning habits, and a player who can raise the energy level without trying to do too much, she fits the bill nicely.
