Brian Plachinski is a veteran Valpo DL with proven run-game toughness
Brian Plachinski profiles as a steady, physical defensive lineman who brings experience and consistency to Valparaiso’s front. The available records show he contributed across multiple seasons for the Beacons, including tackles in the 2008 and 2009 seasons, which suggests a player trusted in the rotation rather than a flash-only disruptor. His appeal is the veteran presence, durability, and trench mentality you want from a DL; the downside is that public stat detail is limited, so the best read is as a dependable depth-to-rotation piece rather than a headline grabber.
