Joey Spence has been Milwaukee’s clutch postseason spark plug
In the 2026 season, Joey Spence turned into Milwaukee’s biggest October-style bat in May, winning Horizon League Tournament MVP after delivering two home runs and 7 RBIs, capped by a walk-off two-run homer that sent the Panthers to the NCAA Tournament. He also gave Milwaukee steady production during the season, including a two-homer, big-RBI outburst in the conference opener, and the reviews paint him as a pressure-loving catcher/1B who thrives in high-leverage moments. If your team wants grit, punch, and a bat that doesn’t flinch when the lights get hot, he’s your guy.
