Emma Giaime brings two-way upside and toughness to San Diego
Emma Giaime is a valuable San Diego Toreros pitcher/utility who can impact games on both sides of the ball, and in the 2025 season she showed flashes of real swing-player value with a 6 1/3-inning scoreless relief outing against Pacific and a five-inning, no-earned-run performance plus two doubles at Weber State. She earned 2025 WCC All-Academic honorable mention, and her recent years include injury interruption in 2026, so the fit question is about durability as much as talent; when healthy, she looks like a gritty, versatile competitor who can lengthen a staff and add extra offensive punch.
