Preston Eldridge brings reliable, assignment-sound tight end value for Davidson
Preston Eldridge’s profile is that of a steady, team-first tight end: in his 2008 Davidson season, he played in all 11 games, started four of the final five, and posted 3 catches for 39 yards while earning PFL Academic Honor Roll recognition. That combination points to a dependable role player with versatility, football IQ, and the kind of coachability that matters in a system fit. He is more of a glue piece than a splash-play star, so he’s best for a team that values consistency, blocking effort, and dependable depth.
