Ryan Simmons brings veteran special-teams value to San Diego State
Ryan Simmons is a **specialist first**: San Diego State’s long snapper profile points to a player whose value comes from **precision, consistency, and reliability** rather than box-score stats. Long snappers are judged by clean operation, timing, and error-free execution, so Simmons fits a team that wants a low-drama, high-trust piece in the kicking game. If you need a roster fit that stabilizes punts and field goals and quietly does the job every week, he’s the kind of detail-oriented player coaches tend to appreciate.
