disruptive Illinois State edge presence with proven backfield production
In the 2004 season, Josh Chrestman earned all-conference recognition for Illinois State after producing 24 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and 3.0 sacks, with earlier Redbird seasons showing he could also generate consistent pressure and backfield disruption. He brings a rugged, physical profile with a knack for collapsing plays and affecting quarterbacks, plus a documented high-motor style that made him a reliable front-line difference-maker. If you want a defender who shows up around the ball and can win with effort and leverage, Chrestman fits the bill nicely.
