Vincent Braga brings a zone-attacking, swing-and-miss profile to Santa Clara’s staff
Braga’s calling card is his ability to attack the strike zone and miss bats: in a Five Tool outing on March 26, 2024, he worked 4 innings with 9 strikeouts, 2 hits allowed, and 1 earned run, and Prep Baseball listed his fastball up to 84.2 mph with a 80.8–82.7 mph range and a strong spin profile. He looks like a competitive, fill-the-zone righty who can give a team strike-throwing depth and a tougher at-bat environment, though the public data suggests more command-and-competitiveness than high-end velocity.
