Texas State CB with Tackling Prowess and Ball Skills
In the 2019 season, JaShon Waddy shone as a Texas State cornerback, starting 11 of 12 games with 55 tackles (42 solo, 5th on team) and tying for the team lead with 5 pass breakups, showcasing elite ball skills and run support rare for the position. A two-star recruit from Angleton HS who earned late buzz, his senior-year intensity and physicality made him a reliable starter—perfect fit for teams needing versatile DBs who tackle like linebackers without injury red flags.
