Chris Barr is Army’s do-everything spark plug with extra-base pop and big-game juice
In the 2026 season, Army INF Chris Barr has been a catalyst in the lineup, highlighted by a cycle against Wagner, a 5-for-5 night with 4 RBI, and a Patriot League Player of the Week nod after homering twice vs. South Carolina. Across recent seasons, he has shown a rare blend of contact ability, gap power, speed, and run production, plus the kind of competitive edge that shows up in pressure moments. If a team wants an energetic middle-infield bat who can impact the game in multiple ways, Barr is absolutely worth the call.
