Penn DB Ayman Mayberry brings elite speed and multi-sport upside
Ayman Mayberry is an intriguing Penn defensive back because his verified track speed translates to clear football traits: burst, recovery ability, and closing range, with Penn listing a 60m best of 7.11 and a 100m of 10.92 in the 2025-26 track roster context. He looks like a fit for a secondary that values athletic coverage defenders who can mirror in space and make up ground quickly, though the available public profile is stronger on speed indicators than on detailed football production. For a team, the appeal is his explosive athletic profile and development ceiling.
