Tyrell Brown brings veteran DB size, experience, and versatility to Coastal Carolina
Brown is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound senior defensive back from Greenville, S.C., giving Coastal Carolina an experienced, physical presence in the secondary in the 2026 season.[1] His profile suggests a player who can handle multiple coverage jobs, and his background as a multi-sport athlete points to the kind of straight-line speed and toughness coaches love. The fit is appealing for teams wanting maturity, reliability, and a DB who can add depth without needing to be developed from scratch.[1]
