Shamachya Duncan brings veteran guard savvy and shot-making touch to St. John’s
Shamachya Duncan is a Staten Island-born guard whose St. John’s résumé shows a proven perimeter scorer with real floor-spacing juice: in the 2019-20 season, she had a 9-point game against Xavier and earlier logged a career-high 11 points in a strong fourth-quarter burst against Providence, while her senior roster listing confirms she was a 5'6" guard with multiple years in the program. She’s the kind of player who helps with poise, shooting confidence, and late-game calm more than flashy box-score stuffing, which makes her a useful fit if you want a guard who can stretch defenses and keep the offense steady.
