Jamel Smith brings proven playmaking juice to Lafayette’s offense
Jamel Smith has already shown he can be a real weapon for Lafayette, with a breakout freshman season that earned him Patriot League Rookie of the Year honors in 2012 and included 38 catches for 291 yards, 2 receiving TDs, plus 15 punt returns for 190 yards (12.7 per return). He’s the kind of receiver who adds value beyond the box score: versatile, return-game dangerous, and trusted in big moments. If you want a do-it-all playmaker with proven production and a history of impact, Smith is absolutely worth the hype.
