disruptive CCSU edge defender with upside in the trenches
Coward is the kind of defensive end teams value for edge pressure, run-setting, and effort that shows up on every snap, even when the box score does not fully capture it. Because publicly available team stat pages do not provide a detailed individual profile for him, the safest read is that he profiles as a physical, assignment-sound front-seven piece for Central Connecticut State rather than a pure stats-first standout. If your team wants a tough, high-motor DE who can help collapse plays and compete downhill, he is worth a look.
