Niles Tate brings low-usage guard depth and flashes of playmaking for VMI
Niles Tate is a veteran VMI guard whose value is more about fit and steadiness than volume scoring: in the 2024-25 season, RealGM listed him at about 1.0 points, 0.5 rebounds, and 0.3 assists in limited minutes, which signals a deep-rotation role rather than a featured offensive load. He’s the kind of player coaches care about for structure, toughness, and knowing the system, but there isn’t enough public stat evidence here to call him a high-impact shot creator. Good fit if you want a bench guard who can stay ready and play within the team’s framework.
