Gritty HS Star & College Hustler with Untapped Potential
Deyja Brown, a graduated 2014 Colleton County HS captain (10.5 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 2.7 SPG over 71 games), brought tenacious rebounding and defensive fire to Savannah State Tigers as a sophomore guard in 2014-15, posting 9 points and 6 boards in key MEAC games while hitting career-highs of 5 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Her high-motor intensity and versatility as a G/SF make her a coach's dream for gritty, rebounding guards who elevate team defense—perfect fit for programs needing hustle players, though limited recent data suggests she's off the radar post-early college stint.
