Grant Pleasant brings length, edge-setting upside, and proven pass-rush production to Toledo
Pleasant is a **6-foot-3, 230-pound weak-side defensive end** who arrived at Toledo with a strong high-school résumé, including **48 tackles and seven sacks as a junior** and **13 tackles and three sacks as a senior**. [3][4] He was also ranked **No. 19 among defensive linemen in Ohio** by Rivals, which signals real developmental upside rather than just raw size. [4] For a fit, he profiles as a high-motor edge defender who can grow into a disruptive rotational piece if his pass-rush tools translate to the college level. [2][3][4]
