Colorado QB with big-arm upside, not Iowa State OL
The available sources point to a likely identity mismatch: the most current football info shows Jacob Dunning as a 6-foot-4 quarterback/punter in the 2027 class from Colorado, not an Iowa State offensive lineman[1][5], and the profile notes standout athletic traits—acceleration, change of direction, jumping, and speed—plus poise and confidence[1]. In 2024, he also showed real production, including a 4,000-yard career passing milestone and a 358-yard, 4-TD game, suggesting a dynamic playmaker with legitimate upside[9].
