Joseph Gripper brings veteran point-guard poise to Coppin State
Joseph Gripper is a senior guard with a 6-1 frame and a reputation for leadership and discipline, giving Coppin State a steady backcourt presence rather than a flashy stat sheet chaser. In the 2016-17 season, he was described by the program as a veteran senior who could help provide experience and winning culture, and his profile shows a passing-first guard with playmaking instincts. That makes him the kind of fit coaches love: dependable, composed, and built to organize an offense when the game gets messy.
