experienced, production-minded Northwestern DE with proven durability
Kevin Mims brings legit veteran value at defensive end: Northwestern lists him as a 49-game player with 38 starts and 163 career tackles, while ESPN credits him with 7.5 sacks, 74 solo stops, and a forced fumble and interception[2][4]. His differentiator is reliability — he showed up, started, and stacked production over time rather than flashing in short bursts[2]. That profile fits a team looking for a steady, assignment-sound edge presence more than a pure bend-and-burst pass-rush specialist.
