Maine TE Michael Laverriere Brings Versatility, Special-Teams Value, and Academic Reliability
Laverriere’s value at Maine was less about flashy volume and more about being a dependable, multi-purpose piece: he appeared in all 12 games and contributed on special teams, including kick returns, while also earning CAA Commissioner’s Academic recognition. That combination suggests a disciplined, team-first player who can help in the margins, handle coaching detail, and add roster flexibility. He’s the kind of tight end worth caring about if you want reliability, effort, and football IQ alongside functional athleticism rather than a pure receiving specialist.
