Nick Floyd brings big-play juice to Utah State’s backfield
Floyd is a compact, explosive runner who already flashed at Utah State in 2024, averaging 12.8 yards per carry on 64 rushing yards in limited action and ripping off a 53-yard run against Hawai’i. His best calling card is burst: at Mt. San Antonio College in 2023, he piled up 1,265 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns, showing both home-run speed and efficient contact balance. For a team, he looks like a strong fit as a change-of-pace back who can create chunk plays, though his college sample at the FBS level is still small.
