Julia Whitted remains a rim-protecting post anchor for IU Indianapolis
Whitted is a proven interior force whose value goes beyond the box score: she finished her IUPUI career with 1,004 points and 206 blocks, ranking second on the program’s all-time blocks list, and she built her reputation on physical paint defense, rebounding, and efficient scoring around the rim. Her profile suggests a classic low-post center who changes shots, controls the lane, and gives a team a reliable inside presence; if you need a tough, experienced big who can protect the basket and play through contact, she fits that mold well.
