veteran Nicholls DB with special-teams edge and ball-hawking flashes
Kairon Brooks is a seasoned Nicholls defensive back from Donaldsonville, Louisiana, with game experience and a knack for creating turnovers—ESPN’s 2019 stat line shows an interception and a forced fumble, while Nicholls’ roster notes he played in nine games that season and contributed on special teams and in the secondary. He looks like the kind of gritty, assignment-sound defender who can help a team in coverage, on the back end, and in the hidden-yardage game. If you want toughness, versatility, and a player who’s been around the block, Brooks fits the mold.
