J.T. Esparza brings old-school linebacker grit to Saint Francis
J.T. Esparza is a physical, blue-collar linebacker for Saint Francis U who stands out more for effort, toughness, and downhill instincts than flashy stat-padding. Available team data shows him on the Red Flash defense in 2021, but no reliable current-season stat line was surfaced here, so the safest read is that he profiles as a hard-nosed, assignment-sound defender whose value comes from tone-setting play and special-teams or depth versatility. If your team wants a linebacker who plays with edge, discipline, and contact courage, Esparza is worth a look.
