NJIT’s high-energy wing with a proven scoring touch
Kraig Peters was a rugged, high-motor guard/forward for NJIT who brought quickness, shooting range, and veteran leadership to the Highlanders. In the 2007-08 season, he earned Division I All-Independent honorable mention, averaged 11.8 points per game, and ranked among NJIT’s all-time leaders in three-pointers made and attempts; he also passed 1,000 career points, finishing with 1,179. Former NJIT materials praised his energy, work ethic, and individual skill development, which suggests a player who competes hard, spaces the floor, and fits well as a steady two-way glue guy.
