Physical, Ball-Disrupting Safety With Early Playmaking Traits
Lofton is a **6-2, 211-pound safety** at Jacksonville State whose early profile is built on toughness and impact plays, including **four tackles as a freshman** and a **crucial field-goal block** that shows he can affect the game beyond standard coverage snaps.[1] What makes him intriguing is the combo of size, physicality, and special-teams value—useful for a staff looking for a defensive back who can eventually grow into a versatile, tone-setting role rather than just a depth piece.[1]
