Blanca Quiñónez is a high-motor freshman playmaker for UConn
In the 2025-26 season, Blanca Quiñónez emerged as an efficient all-around freshman for UConn, averaging 10.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting 53.6% from the field. She stands out for two-way activity, ball pressure and quick decision-making off the bench, which makes her valuable beyond scoring alone. The main fit question is role: she looks like a disruptive, versatile guard who can raise a team’s pace and competitiveness, especially if you want energy, defense and secondary creation.
