D.J. Galva brings length, ball skills, and early-playmaking upside to EKU’s secondary
In the 2024 season, Eastern Kentucky DB D.J. Galva flashed immediate takeaway ability as a freshman, finishing with 5 tackles and 1 interception while appearing in 11–12 games depending on the source. EKU’s own roster bio says he led his high school team in tackles from the secondary and posted double-digit pass breakups in both his junior and senior seasons, which fits the profile of a feisty, ball-hawking defensive back. At 6-1 and around 165–179 pounds, he offers length and range; if your team wants a young DB with upside and competitive instincts, he’s worth a look.
