Charlie Davis brings veteran linebacker grit and Cal Poly-tested toughness
Charlie Davis has the kind of linebacker profile coaches usually love: physical, assignment-sound, and battle-tested in the Cal Poly system. In his Cal Poly career, he was noted for strong tackling production, a quarterback hurry, and the ability to play through adversity, including a season-ending injury that interrupted his 2016 campaign. His standout differentiator is reliability plus edge — he was praised as a competitive, hard-nosed defender with the versatility to compete for a starting rush-linebacker role. If your team wants a downhill, effort-heavy LB with leadership and toughness, he’s a fit.
