Brodney Pool was a ball-hawking, hard-hitting Oklahoma safety
Brodney Pool is a former Oklahoma Sooners safety whose value came from **playmaking and physicality**: he finished his career with 13 interceptions, 367 tackles, and 5.5 sacks, then was selected in the 2nd round of the 2005 NFL Draft. His profile suggests a defensive back who could help a team with instincts, run support, and turnover creation, though he is a past-era player rather than a current college athlete. If you’re evaluating him for fit, think **aggressive, versatile secondary presence** with proven big-play ability.
