elite field-position weapon with NFL-level poise
Hekker is best known for turning punting into a strategic advantage: at Oregon State he set a school single-game record with a 52.5-yard average, and his NFL résumé includes an NFL-record 53 punts inside the 20 with just one touchback in 2016, plus a 65-yard punt in the 2025 season. He fits teams that value precision, hang time, and hidden-yardage impact, and his long track record of clutch, creative kicking makes him more than a specialist—he is a possession-changer.[1][2][4][7]
