Van Zelfden Brings Inside-Linebacker Size and Rotation Experience to Albany
Chris Van Zelfden has been used in Albany’s inside-linebacker rotation, which suggests the staff trusts his instincts, consistency, and ability to handle multiple responsibilities in the middle of the defense[1]. He’s the kind of linebacker who can help with physical run support and special-teams toughness—useful traits for a team that wants a reliable, assignment-sound defender rather than just a stat-sheet hunter[1].
