Dane Smith brings veteran two-way utility and rebounding pop for UT Martin
Dane Smith profiles as a sturdy guard who impacts the game beyond scoring, with career UT Martin numbers showing solid rebounding for his position and a knack for contributing across the box score; in one 2011-12 game, he put up 24 points and 11 rebounds, hinting at that versatility[1][2]. His biggest differentiator is his willingness to do the gritty work—finishing possessions, attacking the glass, and competing with toughness—so he’s a fit for teams that value reliability, physicality, and low-drama role players over pure shot-creation[1][2].
