Max Banes brings veteran size and versatility to Houston’s offensive line
Max Banes is a 6-5, 309-pound senior offensive lineman for Houston, and his biggest calling card is experience: he’s been around the program long enough to provide dependable depth and flexibility along the line, including snaps at right guard in 2023. He fits the profile of a sturdy, physical blocker with enough mass to hold up inside, and his Houston roots plus family football pedigree add a little extra edge. If a team wants a mature, battle-tested lineman who can stabilize a room, Banes is a solid fit.
