Riley Weatherwax brings fresh arm, strikeout upside to Monmouth’s bullpen
In the 2025 season at Penn State, Riley Weatherwax made nine mound appearances, struck out 11 batters in 6.1 innings, and allowed no runs in four outings of 1+ inning — a compact résumé that hints at real bullpen bite.[5] In Monmouth’s 2026 opener at Richmond, he worked 2.1 innings, allowed no hits, and struck out two, flashing the kind of live-armed right-handed relief profile that can matter in tight games.[3][4] At 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, he looks built for leverage innings, with enough swing-and-miss to care about him as a development play.[2][5]
