Elite Defensive Line Coach, Not a Player
Zarnell Fitch is not a college or high school athlete; he is a former NFL undrafted free agent (signed by the New York Jets in 2006) who is now the highly decorated Defensive Line Coach at Texas Tech, having won the 2025 FootballScoop Defensive Line Coach of the Year award. His differentiators include a proven track record of developing dominant defensive units—Texas Tech ranked No. 1 nationally in rushing defense in 2025, allowing just 68.46 yards per game—and his intense, fearless coaching philosophy that has helped TCU lead the Big 12 in sacks for five consecutive seasons. You should care about Fitch because he is a top-tier talent builder, not a player to roster; he is an ideal fit for any team seeking a coach who can transform defensive lines into elite, sack-producing forces through data-driven development and relentless intensity.
