Mercer's Steady-Handed Pass-First Guard
Marcus Cohen, Mercer's 6-4 sophomore guard, delivered reliable production in the 2018-19 season with career NCAA averages of 4.4 PPG, 1.5 RPG, and a standout 3.0 APG (45.1% FG), shining in 29 games including 17 starts as a freshman. His high school pedigree—leading Sickles HS to the 2017 Florida 8A title with 9.8 PPG, 7.0 APG, and 6.0 RPG—highlights elite playmaking vision and versatility. A pass-first facilitator with size and poise, Cohen's low-usage efficiency makes him an ideal fit for teams needing a smart, unselfish combo guard to run the offense without drama.
