Tulane’s 6-foot-4 righty brings rotation upside—if healthy
Owen Geiss is a projectable 6-foot-4, 195-pound RHP who showed weekend-rotation value at Long Beach State, and in the 2025 season he logged 68 innings with 44 strikeouts, including a seven-inning, 114-pitch start against UC Santa Barbara. Tulane brought him in as a transfer arm with starter potential, but the big swing factor is durability: he was injured and did not appear in the 2026 season. If he’s right, he looks like the kind of strike-throwing, innings-eating power arm coaches love to stash in a weekend role.
