dependable Akron linebacker with early-career production and a blue-collar profile
Blake Fraley’s Akron profile is built on reliability and toughness: in the 2010 and 2011 seasons, he logged 16 career tackles with 8 solo stops and 8 assists, plus a tackle for loss, showing he could find the ball and hold his own when called on. He wasn’t a headline-grabber statistically, but that often points to a linebacker who plays assignment-sound football, stays involved, and gives a coaching staff trust. For a team, the appeal is a steady, physical, low-drama defender who adds depth and effort more than flash.
