Marshall DL Malik Thompson brings size, experience, and proven backfield disruption
Malik Thompson is a 6-foot-6, 282-pound redshirt senior defensive lineman whose value is tied to length, power, and the ability to create negative plays. In his most recent listed season, he played in eight games and recorded five tackles and one tackle for loss, while his recruiting profile shows he has long been viewed as a strong-side edge defender with a 2-star rating. At his best, he fits as a physical, role-specific piece who can hold the edge and flash disruption rather than a pure volume-stat producer.
