Manutai is a 6-foot-2, 295-pound sophomore defensive lineman who arrived at Baylor from Saddleback College after showing disruptive production and fast development, including 14 tackles and 2.5 sacks in eight games as a true freshman at Saddleback.[6][9] Multiple recruiting and Baylor sources describe him as powerful with quick feet and strong football IQ, which suggests a player built more on leverage, burst, and effort than raw size alone.[6] He looks like a useful fit for a defensive line rotation that wants interior toughness, but his current value is as an emerging prospect rather than a finished product.[6][9]
