Ben Dinkel gives Delaware a field-flipping weapon in the punting game
Ben Dinkel is a dependable, field-position punter who has already shown he can tilt the game with big-leg upside and punt-placement savvy: in Delaware’s 2022 season, he punted 41 times for 1,687 yards, and the Blue Hens honored him as an outstanding special teams performer after a season that featured eight punts of 50-plus yards and 16 inside the 20. He looks like a strong fit for teams that value consistency, hang time, and hidden-yardage leverage more than flash—basically, the kind of specialist coaches love and opponents quietly hate.
