Dewey Cotton brings compact playmaking and return value to Sac State
Dewey Cotton is a **quick, undersized slot-type receiver** whose best value is separation, toughness, and special-teams flexibility rather than pure size; in the most recent available season snapshot, he posted **25 catches for 231 yards and 1 touchdown** at Sacramento State, showing he can contribute as a chain-mover and depth piece. His appeal is fit-driven: teams that want an **elusive, competitive receiver** who can also help in the return game and won’t need the ball forced to him should care, while clubs looking for a bigger boundary target probably won’t.
