walk-on grit, team-first guard, and a Missouri State spark plug
In the 2020-21 season, Bri Ellis was a senior guard for Missouri State who played in 12 games, scoring 6 points with 2 rebounds and 1 assist in 25 total minutes, and her career line was 54 points, 19 rebounds, 7 steals, 4 assists, and 11 made 3-pointers across 44 games. She stood out less as a volume stat collector and more as a smart, reliable role player whose teams won when she was on the floor, with Missouri State going 40-4 in games she appeared in. Her profile reads like a classic high-IQ, hard-nosed walk-on success story: low-ego, steady, and a culture fit for teams that value toughness and buy-in.
